Warm-Weather Drinks

As the summer sizzles on, you might benefit from a refreshing beverage to sip on. Whether you’re craving a boozy cocktail or something of the virgin variety, we have plenty of CHEF iQ drinks to keep you cool.

Basil Watermelon Lemonade
One of our all-time favorite summer drinks combines two summer staples: lemonade and fresh watermelon. It’s tasty and refreshing, and can be turned into an alcoholic treat by simply adding a shot of vodka or tequila, to each glass. Using pre-cut watermelon will save time, but if you have a whole watermelon (tis the season!), check out our blog here for a step-by-step guide on how to slice and dice one up yourself.

Whiskey Mint Lemonade
This lemonade-based drink is paired with the tartness of the fruit and refreshing mint. The recipe yield is for a whole pitcher, which is perfect for your summer patio parties. Pro tip: If you are making the drink ahead of time, add the ice just before serving so you don’t water the drink down!

Southern Sweet Tea
People who live in the South understand heat and humidity wholeheartedly, which is why they whipped up this sweetened iced tea. Serve up this beverage at your next barbecue, or have it on hand in the fridge so you can sip some outside on your stoop.
