Watermelon Margarita
Makes 8
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs cubed watermelon (frozen, if desired)
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup Cointreau
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 lime, sliced
- Maldon smoked sea salt
Instructions:
- Add watermelon, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into your favorite pitcher and reserve.
- Sprinkle sea salt in a small plate or bowl. Grab your favorite old-fashioned glass or margarita glass and press a slice of lime along the rim. Once coated, flip your glass rim into the salt and give it a few twists to ensure an even coating of salt on the rim.
- Flip the glass back over. Add ice cubes to the glass, pour in the margarita, and garnish with a slice of lime.
