Paddy Melt
Makes 1 cocktail
Equipment Needed:
- Cheesecloth
- Fine mesh strainer
Ingredients:
Infused Rye:
- 1/4 cup loose chamomile tea
- 750 ml rye whiskey
Paddy Melt:
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
- 1/2 oz chamomile-infused rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz amaro
- 3/4 oz lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup
Infusing the Rye:
- Combine the tea leaves and 750 ml rye whiskey and steep for 1 hour 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Strain the infused rye through a cheesecloth-lined fine mesh strainer and into a bottle.
Creating the Paddy Melt:
- Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass and enjoy!
